Get Up, Get Out and Get Active!
Pre-registration for all programs is required. Call 705-254-6474 to register, payments are required one week prior to each event or program.
10:00 a.m. Snooker – Played each day Monday to Friday between the hours of 10:00am to 4:45pm, The cost to play is $7.00 per week.
10:30 a.m. Traditional Hand Rug Hooking – This is the ultimate craft for recycling wool clothing and other fabrics. If you are curious about this craft and want to learn more about rug hooking, drop-in to one of the classes. $2 bi-weekly fee, plus beginners’ kit, Jan. 16th to May 22nd
10:15 a.m. Wanna Bee Quilters – This class is for the beginner quilter. Projects are shared with one another. There is no instructor for this course. $2 per visit plus supplies, Jan. 9th to May 29th
10:15 a.m. Senior Singers – The Senior Singers Choir accepts new memberships in Jan. and Sept. $15 membership fee
12:30 p.m. Border Squares
1:00 p.m. Club 119 Cards – Join fellow seniors to play “500”, Cribbage, Bid Euchre, and Bridge. Refreshments and a light snack will be provided. Cost: $2 at the door plus a Club Membership. Jan. 2nd to May 29th
5:00 p.m. Pickle Ball – Pickle Ball will be played every Tuesday & Thursday evenings. This is a hybrid sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Equipment is provided Cost is $2 per visit, Jan. 9th to May 24th
7:00 p.m. Darts – If you enjoy playing darts, drop in on a Tuesday evening to see what it is all about. Please bring your own darts. Newcomers are welcome! Cost: $2 per visit, Jan. 2nd to May 29th
7:00 p.m. Duplicate Bridge – Algoma Cambrian Bridge Club (ACBC) meet five times per week to play duplicate bridge and socialize. Cost: $3 per visit, Jan. 2nd to May 29th
