Sault Naturalists: Are you a Member? Join Us and Snowshoe Behind Robertson Cliffs
Sault Naturalist outings usually occur on Saturdays each weekend, but Sunday and weekday outings occur on occasion. Outings have a wide variety of destinations and focuses, including birding, wildlife tracking, botany, hiking/snowshoeing, and more. These outings take place on both the Ontario and Michigan sides of the Sault Ste. Marie area.

Snowshoe Behind Robertson Cliffs with Karen Mikoliew & Val Walker
Saturday, January 16, 2021
This is a 6 km (3.5 miles) loop. We’ll follow the trail to the Hakon Lien cabin and then continue off trail across a beaver pond, a steep descent and through a stunning valley and mature hardwood forest. Lots of ups & downs. Bring lunch, water and a mask.
PLEASE NOTE: You MUST contact the outing leader to confirm time of event and let them know you will be attending. RSVP: Karen Mikoliew & Val Walker 705-542-5066 [email protected]
During the current Covid-19 pandemic, outings are limited to MEMBERS ONLY. In addition, we have also limited the number of participants to a maximum of 25 as per the current provincial mandate.
