We were hoping that we would have been able to meet this year at our familiar spot at The Roberta Bondar Pavilion but due to concerns surrounding COVID-19 and government guidelines, Strong Minds will be having Run for Change virtually again this year. ~ Amanda Lambert CEO, STRONG MINDS
Strong Minds sits on the Algoma Family Service Children’s Mental Health Week/Mental Health Week committee as well as their own. This year
Children’s Mental Health Week/Mental Health Week is from MAY 3RD – 9TH, 2021.
This is an important week where we promote awareness of the presence of mental health challenges throughout child/adulthood, and the need for support and funding for community mental health services. The Run for Change event during CMHW/MHW is a movement to raise awareness on mental health and addictions and to stop the stigma that is associated with it. The event encourages infants, children, youth and adults to take care of their mental and physical health, by promoting the connection between physical activity and how it helps with having a healthy mind, says ~ Amanda Lambert CEO, STRONG MINDS
$30.00 per person or $125 for groups of up to 5
These tickets can be purchased on eventbrite.ca or the Strong Minds website. We are also providing an opportunity for pledges this year.
