“My Roommate’s an Escort” is an award-winning original comedy series created by and starring Trish Rainone and Katie Uhlmann, and executive produced by David Carruthers.
“My Roommate’s an Escort” tells the story of a roommate relationship that goes hilariously wrong. It follows the misadventures of Heather, a non-confrontational, small-town girl whose life unravels when she tries to figure out whether her new roommate Kesha is an escort.
From the moment Kesha moves in, Heather is puzzled and confused by her outrageous behavior and mysterious employment situation. But, instead of directly confronting Kesha, Heather tries a variety of passive-aggressive tactics to try to find out more about her life. Unfortunately for Heather, every time she uses one of these tactics to try to get closer to the truth about Kesha, she ends up getting further from it.
Eventually, Heather finds herself becoming completely overwhelmed by Kesha’s crazy antics, her “entrepreneurial” lifestyle and her sketchy friends, which results in an epic roommate showdown that is both disastrous and incredibly funny at the same time.
